Gil works to find long term opportunities for the MAXX Sports and Entertainment clients, creating, nurturing, and selling their brand to some of the biggest companies in the US and Canada. Gil's goal is help maintain the brand once the players career on the field has concluded.
In addition to sports marketing, Gil spent seven years as an adjunct instructor at New York University since 1995 teaching a class entitled "The Sports Agent" in the school's Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism, and Sports Management. Gil was hired by NIGH at the age of 26.
Gil is often quoted as an expert in the media on topics of sports business, having been featured in some of the biggest media outlets in the country; The New York Times, The Daily News, Newsday, ESPN.com, The Sports Business Daily, The Philadelphia Daily News, Florida Times Union, The Baltimore Sun, Reuters and The Fort Worth Star Telegram amongst others. Gil has also appeared on TV, WBIS TV NY, Court TV, ESPN's "Outside The Lines" and CNN's Wolf Blitzer Reports.
Additionally, Gil did a radio media tour about Pete Rose and his endorsement potential if he were to be admitted back into baseball. This was done in conjunction with the release of Rose's book in 2004.
A regular blood donor, Gil is active with the New York Chapter of both The Starlight Children's Foundation and The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Gil is single and lives in New York City.
